Don't Pinch Our Bottom

The Tory City Council has now decided to market test the greenfield site of Hangleton Bottom with a view to selling off this public land to a private company for business waste management use.

 

  • Are you concerned that an area of outstanding natural beauty is to be used in this way?
  • Do you have concerns about the traffic, noise nuisance and pollution a proposal like this will bring to the area?
  • How would it affect local residents and wildlife?

 

Public land should be kept for public enjoyment and Hangleton Bottom is a green jewel in Portslade's crown. It will  be an unwelcome blot on the landscape soon to be surrounded by our new South Downs National Park.
